We have picked up the tempo a little to dodge the incoming heat wave. We walk about Mudgee and enjoy breakfast at The Dancing Goat 😋 then we continue north.

We reach Uralla on the New England Tableland as our destination for today, a cooler, and quiet interesting town with beautiful buildings and great eating places. The Wool shop and art centres would be worth exploring, we might plan to return to spend day or two looking around. Judging by the geology of the region and the local New England Lapidary and Fossicking Clubhouse we suspect there are interesting rock formations and stones to explore.
