A very relaxing start to the day, breakfast, a look around then on the road by 10:00. It is holidays.
Our first stop is Roma. We first top at Roma’s largest Bottletree, its magnificent living creature. We then get another blanket enabling as to survive near zero night temperatures. Sleeping bags stayed home on this trip because the ripper broke 😫. We can recommend ACE drapery in Roma, they have everything you could need from cloth and textile also have cooking items. We had coffee and freshly cooked pasteries from Bakearoma, very nice – bought a pie and pastie for later on. https://www.bakearoma.com.au/
On the road again stopping at Amby, lunch at the Neil Turner weir in Mitchell then the Rockhole just outside Charleville its a good birdwatching stop and a free local council campsite. A drink at the historical Corones hotel then onto the Evening Star caravan park just outside Charleville.
The sky is clear the stars are blazing. We continue to head West.
