It was about 4 – 5 degrees this morning. Plenty of birds on the water and land. I like the summary jurisdiction dealt out to thieves in this part of the world : ). We head off to Isisford via some back roads, no caravans no people, its a pleasant drive along narrow dirt road.

With a few hundred kilometres still to go to reach the Diamantina Lakes we decide to stop at Lochern National Park and camp along Thomson River. Spiny Cheeked and White Plumed honeyeaters and pelicans keep us company. A big starry night and camp fire completes todays journey.
