We drive from Lawn Hill to Mt Isa where we spend a great time with family eating and visiting some of the many sights to see.

On the way we visit the world heritage listed Riversleigh fossil site.

Crossing the Gregory River was interesting, still plenty of water flowing over the causeway.

In Mt Isa the dams, mountains, information centre and many other sites are really worth a visit.

Sadly we are making a deadline to reach home before starting work so we press on with a promise to ourselves to come back another time.
