We make a long drive to Porcupine Gorge stopping at Julia Creek and Richmond.
Julia Creek is a good place to stop. The town seems proud of their Julia Creek Dunnart. This is good to hear given many wouldn’t even know what unique native animals live amongst them let alone lend support to their preservation.
The highlight was the Kronosaurus Korner at Richmond an outstanding collection of fossils and information from the local region.
We arrive at Porcupine Gorge before sunset and watch the full moon rise over the gorge.
