It was -5.5 °C this morning, frozen watering points, frozen plumbing, frozen generator coolant all creatures great and small we’re looking forward to that rising sun.
It was cold but the humidity was very low and there was plenty of birds coming into drink including a flock of 50 Pink Cockatoos.
Spent the latter morning and afternoon surveying the Bluebush and grassland on the Pannikin Plain, no birds of prey but a few smaller species, such as Welcome Swallows and Wood swallows.
