It’s an early start to attend the ANZAC dawn service at Eucla, it is a small but thoughtful service. Well done to the WA police and Eucla roadhouse for their organisation and running of the service.
There is time to look at the Eucla museum, which contains interesting artefacts, old photographs of the Eucla station reveal the extent of the historical Eucla Telegraph Station.
The weather held for the service but soon after it howled wind and rain, pretty much all the way to the Madura Pass.
We meet colleagues at Cocklebiddy roadhouse for lunch then make our way to our home away from home for the next three months. The mallee is looking good.
