Great Australia Bight – Cliffs, sand, mallee and whales. 12 August 2024

It was a mild night with some rain, 1 mm to be exact. Spent time watching the birds and showing visitors some of our walking tracks.

We are finding orchids amongst the scrub, small wonderful natives.

The guests are all gone and we have a free night. A run down the beach track after sunset looking south over the foredunes and ocean beautifully contrasted by the dim moonlight and Southern Aurora.
