We made a trip to the Burnabbie sheep station ruins to do a bird survey and collect firewood.
It’s a lot more overgrown compared to our last visit, and many more bushland birds can be seen and heard. The mallee is looking good and some in flower or soon to flower.
The veggie garden structure is still in place. The engine that powered the shearing equipment will likely be there for many years. Click here to see it.
The Mallee regrowth after fire is doing well, so well some of the tracks are enclosed by close vegetation.
