We have reached the Adelaide Hills and are now catching up with family.

We had the opportunity to visit the Gilbert’s Motor Museum in Strathalbyn and what a treat! We had a chance to meet and talk with a number of local notables, which included Glen Dix OAM. Glen is the man who waved the chequered flag at many racing car meets in many areas around Australia including the Adelaide Grand Prix, a wonderful genuine gentleman and real Australian legend. Glen has been a big supporter of the motor racing industry, particularly was there for the people. The museum is wonderful regardless if you are a motoring enthusiast or not the content is of interest to many. The museum is run by those who have many passions, one gentleman, Steve, we chatted with for a while was a knowledgeable Mallee Fowl advocate, but all the people there were great advocates for the museum.
