We spent the morning exploring and learning about the Brewarrina Fish Traps with the help of a local indigenous guide, it’s an enlightening experience and well worth attending. You can find out the details from the local information centre.
We continue north stopping at the Goodooga Hot Spring (bore) baths, a fabulous relaxing facility. The water is beautiful and warm, with a blue sky and cool breeze it was a wonderful experience.
Our camp for the night is Hebel, an oasis in Queensland near the border of N.S.W. The cafe makes great meals and staff are friendly, for those seeking a cold drink the hotel across the road is a friendly venue. It’s a historical town full of interesting locals and travelers, it’s a must stop campsite. Camping is behind the cafe, free if you need no power small fee if you do.
