It’s an early start as we are going to travel some border roads that could be of some dubious quality. We take one last look at the lake and all the birds making use of it for an early morning drink. Leaving Myninya campground, what a great remote campground and continuing through Currawinya National Park exploring old yard infrastructure and stopping at Budjiti lookout, which affords a 360° view of the national park.

Then down to Hungerford through the border gate and roughly East to Yantabulla then East again to Enngonia. We stop at Goodooga for a dip in the Artesian Springs many visitors but great for a brief stop.

Our camp is Hebel in the camping area across from the Hebel Hotel and behind the Hebel General Store and Cafe. These are great people the cafe food is fabulous.
