This is a short blog as we are staying in the Cocklebiddy region for three months doing some volunteering work, we are helping out at a remote research station. We will try to update the blog on a weekly basis, however access to the internet is poor.
It’s a late start today with plenty of time to check out the view and birdlife. Some light showers passing over but diminishing as the morning gets older. We take the time to visit the historical Eucla Telegraph Station, part of a early colonial communication system that connected Perth to the eastern states and the rest of the world.
Last stop at civilisation is Cocklebiddy, we enjoy a shower and dinner in the diner.
