We start early to make our way south to the Mt Lofty Ranges where we will be staying with family. Its a 400 km journey taking us from the stunning arid mountains of Ikara – Flinders Ranges to the rolling temperate hills of Mt Lofty. We travel through broad open farming landscapes, impressive industrial scale wind farms, historic towns, travel back roads and through the picturesque hills (Mt Lofty ranges) towns to say farewell to our traveling companions at Mylor and settle in with family for a week/ and dinner at the old watering hole – Aldgate hotel.
