It’s an early start and we leave our Sourt Australian family and head north. We stop at Laura, and peruse the wares at the Laura Chocolate Factory, wonderful Belgian chocolate. We make a couple of detours to travel through Horricks Pass and Pitchi Richi Pass. Then onto Quorn for some supplies and lunch, through Hawker and travel via the picturesque Arkaba valley, the Valley of a Thousand Hills. A quick stop at Leigh Creek and finally to Marree for fuel, dinner in the pib (great meals) and bed.
