Coledale beach to Bundanoon (Morton NP)

It’s morning at Coledale beach. We have a quick breakfast and drive over and back again over the Sea Cliff Bridge because we can. The ocean is beautiful in the early morning light.

We head through Wollongong to Kiama then up the Kangaroo Valley, it’s a beautiful drive. This whole Southern Highlands is very picturesque. They recently had the Bundanoon Highland Gathering day – (Brigadoon).

We visit the National Park Visitors Centre at Fitzroy Falls and take the short walk to see the Falls. They are expecting a very busy Easter this year and most camp sites around are fully booked.

Last stop is the Bundanoon Section of the Morton National Park. Only two camping crews in this camp for tonight, us and one other. We take a long walk along the trails enjoying the feeding antics of a pair of Superb Lyre birds.
