It’s a quick trip to Coles Bay and check in to Wineglass Bay Cruises.
We travel around the Freycinet peninsula to Wine Glass Bay. It is stunning coastal scenery and we saw seals, whales, gannets and albatross swooping into bait fish, more seals, whales and dolphins. At one point the birds, dolphins and seals were all working together to feed on the bait fish. An absolutely David Attenborough moment.
The skipper has a fabulous knowledge of the history and geology of the area, this makes for marvellous commentary between the amazing sights.
We have lunch at anchor in the beautiful Wineglass Bay, a foodies delight full of Tasmanian delicacies.
Back to harbour then a quick trip back up to a little village outside of Launceston.
