Tasmania 2016 – day 2

We are heading North West to the Central Plateau.

We stop at MONA. The museum for old and new art. Some really clever and or quirky art, some we are not sure about but then again something there for everone. It’s a real cultural gem.

We head on at stop at some sculpture in the scrub near Steppe’s Homestead. The theme is chiefly wildlife and some pioneer works.

It’s on to Miena. The landscape is getting wet and marshy looking. Forests look dry but water draining out everywhere.

Miena is our stop for the night. It’s a hot dinner and Tasmanian red in the pub, with a log fire : )

It’s going to be cold tonight. 3 doonas and an electric heater in the truck going!
