We wake to more amazing scenery. Mountains plunging into Talbot Bay which create the horizontal waterfall effect where there is a small gap in the mountains and the water flow was through with the tide.
It’s a very warm morning and it’s good to get into the tenders and travel off through the falls. An amazing site and cooler when on the move. 

We travelled up and through Cyclone Creek, so named due to its protective rock formations. Ships would often shelter close to the sheer cliffs of the gorge in bad weather. 

It’s all croc country, we don’t see them but….    

More photo opportunities, it’s quintessential Kimberley with red rocks and blue water and stunning clear blue skies.

We need to rendezvous with a refuelling pontoon to ensure we reach Wyndham with a good safety margin. We witness fabulous ship manoeuvres.  

Sundowners on the foredeck as we steam past Koolan Island and on to Melomys Islands where we drop anchor for the night. There is another light show and as the night falls so does the rain which sees us all dashing for cover.
