We wake to a beautiful sunrise.

A quick breakfast.

The morning is already heating up so we head for one of the many beaches. It’s an amazing place, soft and brain coral are scattered across the beach. A Beach Curlew who would ordinarily fly off in the presence of humans wandered up to us, just as curious about us as we were about it.

Back to the boat for hot (another) breakfast then off to Silica Beach for a swim. The sand is powdery and white. We have a crocodile watch so we can enjoy the swim. As the tide rises in comes the fish. It’s then back to the boat and we fight the out going tide as we motor and sail to Talbot Bay.

Thunderheads in the distance means we get a great electrical light show and spectacular cloud formation.
