Leaving our very comfortable accommodation and heading up the Dampier Peninsula. Had Breakfast with our friend Margie in Broome before heading off.

Finally blue sky and warm sunshine. : )

Road goes from bitumen to sandy runway to narrow trail through bush and fires leading to a little piece of quiet paradise.

Whalesong only allows 7 campsites. Basic but quirky conveniences. Outdoor shower in the bush, it’s great. They make great meals, their pizzas are to die for as is the view.

Walked the beach before dinner. An amazing array of shells, coral and sponges to be found.

Colourful moths out before sunset feeding on flowers.

In bed listening to surf crash on beach and gazing up at the stars.
