We wake to a beautiful sunrise over the Erye Creek which is just a few metres from our bed, Pelicans and Whistling Kites shepherd in the morning.
Another cold night possibly into single figures with the breeze already picking up as we break camp and head south into Birdsville.
We refuel and eat a Birdsville and travel onto Windorah.
Along the way we look at some indigenous watering points, very clever storage points in the ground that allows them to traverse this dry landscape.
