Western Australia adventure – 17 October 2025

We are making our way north, stopping at Moama, on the N.S.W. Side of Ecucha on the River Murray last night and tonight on the Murrumbidgee at Narrandera. Both rivers are running, the flow is strong.

We did some weaving around the Victorian and N.S.W. border as we travelled through the Barmah Forest area south of the Murray. Stopping at Tocumwal for lunch.

Some interesting buildings in Narrandera, the fountain is only one of two and made by Royal Doulton. The Thai restaurant here is well worth your patronage, at times a one man show so be patient, but the food is wonderful.
