We have been busy assisting the restoration team with a range of jobs, from fixing underground tanks, to roofing, fixing the pH levels in the vegetable garden soil, placing silt traps on potable water drainage, fixing kitchen tiles and wheelbarrows, and door handles.

The southern ocean has thrown us more fierce winds and rain, the good news is, it’s filling our water tanks.

Travelling to pick up stores it may have been better in a boat as much of the track was covered with water. Where we left the gravel road and drove across limestone soil it was a bit like skating.
