Much of today was spent doing handover duties. Being so remote brings many challenges, nobody delivers to our location without significant planning and logistics. Invariably technology breaks and problem solving becomes paramount in the repertoire of skills required, whether it be power, water, gas, vehicles, generators, communications, wildlife or pests there is a never ending list to work through.

So after a day of fixing or maintenance it’s nice to wander into our backyard to enjoy the ever changing art show of the natural environment.
