We have had a great time with family and exploring the local area, now on our last leg of the journey home. It’s been 4 months since we left home, quite an adventure. We have checked out the Murray River at its mouth and various spots along its long journey to the sea. We also looked in on some of Murray River tributaries, the Murrumbidgee and Lachlan Rivers.

It was good to see the dredges moored and the Murray River pouring out to sea with no assistance, the way it should be. The water birds are prolific and widespread across the Murray River catchment.
