We sleep in today. A swim in the river and photos of the local nearby wetland area. There is an array of flowering insect catching plants and water loving plants, it’s quite a colourful scene.  It’s then off to Drysdale River Station to meet up with the UQ Research team. It’s a quick drive and we lounge around in the shady garden at Drysdale enjoying a cold drink with ice cubes!

The team arrive and organise themselves. Dinner is spent at the homestead dining area.
