Today is a lazy day touring some of the locals tracks around Kununurra. Some beautiful spots to see. You could easily spend a week just walking and touring the local area.
The view of the 5 rivers at Wyndham is always worth a visit, you gain an appreciation of the typical big Kimberley landscape. The vessels on the water in the below photograph are large barges that carry ore to waiting ships.
We cross the mudflats to visit the boab prison tree and Moochalabra Dam, the road follows King Ruver which is noted for its crocodiles.
The trip back to Kununurra across the plain, dry now but no doubt part of the wetland system makes you appreciate the volume of water moving over the land in the wet.
Track (24/05/2015 10:08:40am) in Explorer. You can view a map of it on Hema Explorer Cloud.
