Day 14

Day 14 – Kununurra

Spent the day preparing trucks and stocking up with food, water and bits for trip down the Gibb River. Corrugations have potential to loosen bolts and teeth.

So far flowing creeks and rocky/dusty roads haven’t posed any problems though bone jarring corrugations expected along the Gibb.

While in town visited the Mirima National Park on the outskirts. Some works going on to upgrade the paths but well worth the visit. Botanical interpretative signage very good.

Some amazing rock formations! If you ever come across an unwanted fossil Simon I do have a rock and fossil collection! Guess your truck is full enough of rocks and dust in any case. Beautiful scenery, great photos.
