Day 12 Ord River
A restful start to the day. Then off for a 55km boat ride up the Ord River and into some of its backwaters. Plenty of wildlife, Jabiru, Freshwater Crocodiles, Black Bittern, Nankeen Night Heron, Rainbow Bee-eaters, White-bellied Sea Eagles, and Comb-crested Jacana the list goes on.
Rock Walls plunge into the water while at other times we weave our way past reed beds, the scenery is as always, spectacular.
Weather continues to be perfect. Windy this morning but has dropped off as day progressed.
Boat drops us off at the Crossing and we walk home to Margie’s for Red Wine and dinner.
